Electric starter kit includes a 1.4kw compact starter with integral Bendix, solenoid and gear reduction Kit also includes mount plate, 4 gauge cable, two 5/16 x 24 cable ends and heat shrink tubing Natural finish starter and starter housing bolts directly to original starter drive port (requires (2) m5.08 x 2″ countersunk flathead screws, not included) Check clearance between sprocket cover, oil tank and battery tray Check clutch drum, must have 62 ring gear installed, available separately Starter motor accepts direct push button, available separately in black or white Clutch drum with starter ring gear installed is available separately (your existing clutch drum must have the OEM Ring gear welded in place) Fits 1967-1980 XL models
